Scott is a PSIA-certified ski instructor at Keystone Resort in Colorado. While Keystone is where he spends most of his time, he also enjoys skiing at Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, and Vail.

Scott's skiing journey began more than 40 years ago—before snowboards appeared at most ski resorts. He learned to ski at Snow Summit near Big Bear Lake in Southern California and went on to ski throughout Southern California, including extensive time at Mammoth Mountain and in the Lake Tahoe region. Along the way, he was fortunate to experience several ski areas that have since closed, including Mt. Waterman and Kratka Ridge, while Mt. Baldy remains one of his longtime favorites.

Starting in the early 1980s, Scott learned on the long, narrow skis of the era, including 203 cm Precision Pre 1200s and distinctive Hexcel Mogul skis with their split-V tails. Over the decades, he has skied throughout the United States and Canada, ultimately choosing Colorado as his home base in 2020.

With more than four decades of skiing experience, Scott has developed extensive knowledge of ski equipment and technology. Since 2022, he has skied exclusively on Renoun skis and serves as both a Renoun Ski Ambassador and RenounPro member.

Today, Scott's passion extends beyond his own skiing. As an instructor, he enjoys helping others develop their skills, build confidence on the mountain, and discover the same lifelong enjoyment of skiing that has inspired him for more than 40 years.
