Renoun Endurance 98 Review

The Renoun Endurance 98 is a versatile, lightweight all-mountain ski known for Renoun's patented VibeStop technology. Of the various Renoun models I have skied, it is my favorite and the one I use most often when skiing on my own.

If you're unfamiliar with VibeStop technology, I can say from personal experience that it works. I used to struggle with ski vibration and chatter, especially on firm or variable snow conditions. Since switching to the Endurance 98, those issues have virtually disappeared. The reduction in vibration creates a noticeably smoother and more comfortable ride.

The Endurance 98 is ideal for intermediate to advanced skiers looking for a fun, smooth, and versatile ski rather than an ultra-stiff hard charger. It particularly appeals to skiers who want one ski that can handle everything—from powder and trees to bumps and groomers—without feeling like they're dragging around a heavy ski all day.

One of the biggest benefits for me is how forgiving it is on the body. The damp ride and reduced vibration make it a real knee saver compared to many skis that transmit every bump and piece of rough snow directly to the skier. It combines the personality of a playful, easy-going cruiser with the confidence and stability of a powerful charger.

Thanks to its tip and tail design, the Endurance 98 provides excellent float in powder. At the same time, it performs remarkably well on groomed runs. With an 18-meter turn radius and sharp edges, it carves a variety of turn shapes with ease. It doesn't take much effort to get the ski on edge, making it enjoyable for both relaxed cruising and more aggressive carving.

In tighter terrain, the ski's lighter weight makes it quick and responsive. Its easy turn initiation and stable platform inspire confidence in the trees, while its damp feel helps maintain control when conditions become challenging.

For skiers seeking a lightweight all-mountain ski that delivers comfort, versatility, and confidence across a wide range of conditions, the Renoun Endurance 98 is an outstanding choice.
